Today it is the boys FOREVER day. The day the boys came home...they actually entered America one year ago. I remember the WAITING like it were yesterday, the ache in my heart to have them home. They were my sons but so far away...some days I wondered if they would ever really come home. Hey, but praise God, they did! Amazing..the year has gone by so darn fast. I know there are many families still waiting and my heart breaks for them. Daily we are amazed that these sweet little guys are here...we can't imagine our sons living in the orphanage...they are so full of life.
What a year!! We've all grown so much! We've worked so much on being consistent in our love and discipline and I think that has helped. The boys still have their moments...they were both sent to bed for being naughty tonight..that wasn't so much of a happy ending to forever day:( but they are 2 and 5.
I can't help but to think about their birth moms and wondering about their hearts today..it's sometimes hard to celebrate something that is so wonderful for our family and so devistating for another family.

Yes, HAPPY forever day...what a blessing that these two precious boys are forever home. It does give the rest of us hope that there IS an end in sight.

We thought of you on Mother's Day, and celebrated thinking that your sons have been home for a whole year! We are still waiting for ours to come, but are always blessed by reading about your family.
