Hi Friends,
Things are going well...summer is flying by. Our last camp of the summer is almost over! I love them, each one is wonderful but quite a bit of work. Jessica is in Arizona on a mission trip. I miss her so much. I will not see her for quite a while because Todd and I will be in Haiti when she returns. We are very excited to be able to spend time with Markenley and Solomon!!! We miss them oh so much!As far as our adoption process goes, we are out of courts..so we have approval from IBESR and parquet. Next our file goes to courts where the boys will get our last name, then it will go to 2nd legalization where our adoption decree will get drawn up, then off to Minister or Interiors office...then to immigration where we will get the boys passports and bring them home. This could take a month but things have been taking sooo long...we will be blessed to have the boys home by Christmas....we are praying though for much sooner.Love you all!Renee

Hi Renee,
This is so wierd... I had read your story on the website for the orphanage that we are adopting from quite a while ago. Today I was doing a search for blogs from people who are adopting from Haiti. Well, yours came up in my search and I started to put some familiar things together. I totally recognized the pic of Markenley first... he is so cute, and then I remembered your story of Noah and then I was in tears when I read about you picking Kenley but typing Markenley. My husband Josh and I are the forever family for Kenley. We live in Califoria on the central coast. Such a small world! We had the blessing of going to Haiti on the May 2007 trip. We spent a lot of time in the toddler room and with Markenley. He was very interested in Josh... what a sweetheart and what a smile. I may have some pics of him that I can send you if you want. We will pray for a speedy rest of the adoption journey for you.
Blessings,
Mary
